#94022 - Many different digital pots Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Firstly besides Maxim there are several other manufacturers of these devices. They include
Analog Devices Xicor (taken over by Intersil) Catalyst Just because one part is hard to obtain, look for another value, a different package, temperature range or manufacturer. Also consider that if absolute values of the resitors are critical, an analog switch in series with a resitor can add several hundred ohms to the value. If you can configure your resistor network so that one side connects to ground you can use transitors as switches to create different resistances through different parallel connections. |
