Hi, in essence in the MCU world, it allows portions of memory to be defined by the user. ie, hold specific/related data.

I still have a lingering question, I looked up the keyword "DATA" and "REG, it defines RAM 0-7FH and 7F-0FFh. If mydata is a symbol for the memory area define by the keyword "data", what is the relationship to "Reg mydata". They refer to different memory locations, yet are use the same symbol "mydata"
