Most important thing is choosing the driver. For low resulution like this 2 KS0108B are good for graphics only. For gfx/text i would go for the T6963C driver. The link that tought me enough to make a complete gfx/text project is :

Be carefull choosing a display (brand) though, some brands last shorter then a day, if its for one piece only get one from a local dealer, if its for a product choose wisely.
