I know someone posted a similar request about interfacing an 8052 device to a harddrive only last month, but I did not get a chance to see any of the replys. Does anyone have or know where to get information on the IDE (or even E-IDE)interface and other information I might require to achieve this (hopefully not impossible) task?

I know someone will probably suggest using a high-capacity Flash device instead, but I need a lot of non-volitile megabytes for my application!! and there isn't one big enough!
