recently atmel launched mp3 decoder AT89CSND2C. for a long time i was tryng to develop an applicaton similar to an i-pod , and this IC is just what i needed .but the problem is that till date whatever applicatons i have developed were first thouroughly tested on a breadboard , before i made a pcb .
But this IC is available in only a 100 pin smd pack , so how do i start working with it . do i first builds a pcb and then start experimenting or is there any other alternative available.Also the one more problem is the flash programmer , without which i am totally handicapped . is there any free flash burning software available like the one that is available for 89s52 ,since i cannot afford the licence fee of the vendors. Also is it feasible to develop my own flash burning software for the same.
