But my project is signalling after connection with pulse
assume i call you then i press key#9 when my phone set is in pulse mode, then you must detect key #9 So you have pulse dialing and you want to do signalling to B-party after the connection has been made. I have one question here.. Why the pulse dialing? Is it a strict requirement of the project? or you don't have a DTMF facility at centeral office (Exchange or PABX) If you have DTMF dialing facility available, you must go for it. If you don't have DTMF available in the centeral office, you can still do signalling but using DTMF. 1) Take any standard DTMF/PULSE telephone set and set it to pulse dialing mode. 2) Dial the desired number and wait for answer. 3) When the call is answered by B-party, just press * key on your telephone set. This will temporarily convert the dial mode of your telephone set to DTMF. 4) Now you can make signalling to B-party if there isa DTMF detector at B-party's line. 5) When you hang up, your telephone set will shift again to pulse dialing mode. PS: I am not sure if this will meet your requirement. This is just an idea. Also not all telephone sets are have dual dialing modes and even if they have, I am not sure that every telephone set dials DTMF temporarily (When * is pressed while set is in pulse dialing mode). You will have to check the manual. |
