I think this defeats the object of the exercise: He's adding these 7 slaves for "IO expansion" - if he now uses up 8 or even 16 pins (plus control signals!) on each processor for a parallel bus, he'll need to add even more slaves to achieve his required number of available IO pins!! But maybe he just has a bucketful of old 89C51s that he wants to use up...! ;-) |
