You didn't mention which device you have to use with i2c protocol. I have used I2C with EEPRMs many times with almost all port pins of the micro. As maximum what it takes to make ports work for i2c is just use a 10 K pull up both on SCL and SDA line, and you get it. The easiest, simplest and the cheapest solution. Simon |
