#96164 - FIRST STEP IN burning ROM
Dear ALL,

I have knowledge of Architecture of MicroController.I am confused about some text in some book about MCU.
the Issue is:
I have written my program(.ASM file), then My IDE (PINNACLE) generated the two files.1) .HEX file and 2) .LST file.
further I have MCU programmer(ROM BURNER) and A software, which transfer the .HEX data into ROM.
My questions are:
1)HOW CAN I USE my onchip ROM TO WRITE THE PROGRAM.
2)FROM WHICH ADDRESS IN ROM, PROGRAM WILL START
3)HOW WE SET THE VALUE OF PROGRAM COUNTER PC.
4)WHAT IS PURPOSE OF .LST FILE, BECAUSE I AM NOT USING IT.
5)HOW CAN I MONITOR THE EXECUTION OF MY PROGRAM.

-- I AM USING PINNACLE IDE(SIMULATOR)

THANK YOU PEOPLE,I APPRICIATE FOR ALL PROMPT AND DETAIL ANSWERS
MY EMAIL IS RAHIL@BISMILLAH.COM.PK
