buy a silabs protoboard ($99 up), that gives you (choose carefully) USB, analog, ethernet/internet (with a $50 attachment), 8 ports, ADC, DAC, CAN and a whole lot more.
Also, the SILabs chips have built in JTAG debugging so you get ICElike functionality in the bargain. One word of advice: stay away from the f3xx chips/boards, the "nice little deviations from the norm" will drive you nuts. The f0.., f1,, and f2.. chips/boards are wunnerful. Or (I have no knowledge of these) try something from Goal semi. Erik |
