Good afternoon, everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that the server move that I mentioned a week or two ago is now underway. 8052.com is in the process of moving to a high-bandwidth co-location arrangement under which we have no practical limit to bandwidth.

At this point, I'm about half-way through the process of moving to the new server. I hope the process will be complete by the weekend. I will, of course, post another message when the move is complete.

However, during this transition period you may find that 8052.com is even slower than usual. This is due to the fact that the 8052.com database (which includes this forum, search engine, links, user accounts, etc.) has already been moved to the new server and it is being accessed remotely by our current server.

Thus, I would ask you all to please be patient for the next couple of days. I'm already accessing the new server directly and I can assure you the speed of the new server is incredible compared to what we've become used to here at 8052.com. :)
