#96474 - PostScript Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Milind, I had previously worked on a similar project, but just reverse of what you have told. I wanted to 'understand' what the PC is telling to the printer. For that I put an 89c52, interfaced with PC's parallel port. I could decipher some of the commands of dotmatrix printer, but on the whole, the project dint succeed.
By the way, I read that Laser printers get the input in PostScript format from the PC. Conform this and try to implement the same in 8051, if possible. Try these, may be helpful: http://web.mit.edu/randy/www/antigrav/alp.html Regards, Vignesh. |
