#97538 - A question
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Hello,

The following questions and comments may seem a bit on the silly side, but it will aid mu understanding.........

The thing is, I have always imangined filters to be usefull in AC applications, at it responds to frequency. So how will filters (used to impliment intergration and differentiation) be used in DC applications? I am aware that a DC pulse is "made up" the addition of harmonics, is the trick that I am failing to see?

Or, is it the step from one voltage level to the next as in your temppreture example.

I am sorry to go through this again, but I am still about confused about these concepts.

Thank you for your time.
