I dont want CAN i just want to take advantage of the Tranciever (110 multipoint nodes connectivity )on the serial port
That is understood, but still, why use a CAM transciever when 1/8 load 485 transcievers allow 256 nodes. In the 485 transcievers (and basically that is what a CAN transciever is) you can find basically whatever you need. Anyhow, since the CAN transciever for all practical purposes is a 485 transciever you MUST read 10 ways to bulletproof 485 the address is undet "best serial appnotes" in links <--- Erik |
