Weber Paiva, as me, is Brazilian. He for some reason choose to post a bilingual message, one part in native Portuguese. Special symbols(SS)are used in this language which cannot normally be reproduced in English web sites. These, by a process I don't know about, make reference to the SS by plain English characters__the copyright sign and the others.
My own name has one of these SS over the "e" of Jose, which I ommit in English communication.
