Learning on Hardware means you can not single step or look at variables. You can get Free debuggers so you can run the program totaly on the PC.
Or some demo / SBC have debuggers the run with that hardware. As for command interperters look for 8051 Monitors programs. (Yes 8051) Monitors are old tech, But they do give you limited debugging |
