#99660 - Algorithm for Digital PID Control |
Hi,
I am using Peltier to control the temperature of a small block. The required temperature can be selected from 25, 30 or 37 Degrees for the block, starting from the ambient temperature 20 to 40 Degrees. The temperature accuracy being +-0.5 Degrees. Currently I am controlling it using the analog PID circuitry and opamps, similar to the one given by RRaghu in the forum. I now want to convert this into a digital PID controlled, using lesser of the analog circuitry using 8051 microcontroller. Can anyone please help me in knowing the algorithm used for implementing it.
