#99889 - question to stepper motor gurus |
Hello
my 8051 application controlls a system where the stepper motor and other mechanic is totally replaced by a CCD. I use a pca channel to get an mesuring the clockticks going to a L297. Now the question? Is it possible to recover the clockticks by replacing the stepper motor instead with ohm resistors and measuring the outputs of the L298 p.e. zero transitions. The L297 is in HALF mode. This would it no longer make necessary to use solder iron and massive attacks to the existing hardware to get the clock - a normal plug with aditional interface should do it? |
