why you use Large model ???
Avoid it whenever you can.
Default is Small, since Small is great.

Read your C51 manual, why Large should be avoided. And if used neverthelss, what must be watched (e.g. location, size of the XDATA segment)


Sorry, about the veteran 8255 I can not help. I use electric motors instead of steam engines :-)
