| I don't think a cap could possibly cause this phenomenon. This occurs consistantly on multiple PCBs so it really can't be a deffective cap. I'll see if removing it has any affect.
 ANY coil with ANY capacitor has a resonance, be it parallel or serial. Anyhow what is the problem, your power supply (12 to 3.3) should easily handle it. If your supply can not take it, look up Power Trends (TI). I use their little switchers and if anything is exposed to spikes it's my stuff. Erik |
