For the sake of accuracy it is outside my back window ;-) The accident report was just published. The aircraft needed approximately twice the runway length of Northrepps for a pilot of average ability... Yesterday I sat in my back garden and watched a helicopter approach the runway at an oblique angle...... just as a light aircraft took off towards it... fortunately they missed. Ian |
