Maybe John has some code in 'c' he might like to share? I dont mind sharing pieces of code, since the whole code is very implementation specific. Another point, I have implemented the ASCII version instead of the the RTU. A belated thanks to Russell is in order, since my code actually started working after basing the code on Russell Bull's code which you can find here: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=84158 Yes, but it would be work and many do not beleive in that Yes indeed, I think I have downloaded and printed over 1000, A4 size pages and studied most of them before I could get a satifactory working of the modbus protocol.
