So I'm only 48 years behinde since Rudulf Kalman invented Kalman filter in 1959! Pitty I didnt know about Kalman before. A friend's father works for (or perhaps he retired from) a defense contractor in New Jersey. Early on in his career, he developed what's now called Kalman filtering. Unfortunately, he was working on a classified project and as such, could not publish his work. He was not happy when he read Kalman's paper. -a |
