Maybe because it means that the code would be portable,maintainable and readable ;-)
Trouble is if people keep banging on about how c or any other high level language is the root of all evil then people might start taking it seriously, and anyone starting out on a career with that attitude would soon find themselves unemployable. I hate to say it but its not the '70s anymore and nobody employs assembly programmers. |
