You could study these parts from Analogue Devices.
http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0...96,00.html http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0...97,00.html On both of these the watchdog is a separate output which has a built in latch action with separate internal linkage to the RESET output. At least from what I can see via a quick look at the data sheets. It may also be possible to inter-wire the PF input/output with the WD output to create an even more elegant latching & status indicator. Michael Karas |
