#155056 - RS485 questions |
Hi people,
I have task as follow: - 4..6 devices on one 100 meter wall has to be connetced via RS485 - devices must be galvanicaly isolated at low cost. So i plane to use RS485 tranceivers (isolated at RO/DI side), connected to one twisted pair of UTP (or FTP) cable , power (6..12V) will be delivered trough other pair. Linear regulator will produce 5V for tranceiver . My questions - what troubleshootings i can expect here? - must i use isolated DC/DC converters ? |
