As their satisfied customer for more than a decade - and a true patriot ;-) - I always recommend Elnec device programmers. However, I have never seen them used in such volume use personally, so I can't say anything good or bad in this respect. Long-term support and free updates are their policy - check yourself. They were always willing to cooperate in supporting non-standard chips, and to add useful features to their software on request. There appears to be a distributor in Australia, too.
