It has been many years (~20) since I've done anything with DMX512. Actually, DMX512 was the reason I started using 8051s as it was about the only micro that could do DMX512 without any extra hardware at that time. My recollection is shaky, but I think you need to disable the uart, clear the txd port pin, wait the required >=88us, setb the txd pin then re-enable the uart. |
