As with other EU directives/standards (at least those for weigh scales) some things depend of vision of Notified body. Next week i'll receive standard and read, but from conversation with Notified body i understanded that plastic parts will be problem. On other hands i see approved indicators with metal case, but polyester cover on LCD/keypad. Maybe this polyester is "stateic dissipative" or "conductive", i dont know.
Today i found "piezoelectric keypads" at www.schurter.com, www.barantec.com. Suppose - prices are beween 100..200 USD - for 16..20keys. regards |
