#170964 - whenever i try to write in the register and read that value
Responding to: ???'s previous message
As Richard says, it is totally impossible to answer your question as you have omitted almost all necessary information!

Remember: nobody knows anything at all about you or your project apart from what you clearly & explicitly state in your posts!

m using cs5460

What is a cs5460? Give a link to the Datasheet

You have read the Datasheet, haven't you - and checked for app notes, examples, etc on the manufacturer's website...?

for my project

What project?

In this i can read the data

What data?

from the register

What register?

but cannot write the data

What data?

in the register.

What register?
Is this the same register as before, or a different one?

whenever i try to write in the register

Again, what register?
Or is this happening with any register that you try?

and read that value the o/p comes 0.

How are you reading it/them?
How do you know that it's zero?
How do you know that it's the read that's failing, and not the write?

Note that some registers are not designed to read-back the same value that was just written - SBUF is the classic example!

so plz someone help me..

You need to give much more information to go on!
