Nearly all Windows-based systems have some commands in common, due to the fact they're a Windows program. However, beyond the Windows conventions, they have little in common and often enough they don't even adhere to the Windows conventions. Nearly every feature is called something different, and often enough, the processes are named differently as well.

Consequently, you almost always have to unlearn before you can learn. I say almost only because I haven't tried absolutely everything yet.

BTW, the reason I call EAGLE bEagle, is because it's such a DOG! It fails to adhere to most Windows conventions, has terrible schematic entry and library management, and often takes a very long time, in one not so recent case, two weeks, to autoroute a board. It did finish, though, but also required another week of hand editing to make the autoroute useable.
