(not to mention the additional software that would also be required on the Host) I think a good first question to ask anyone would be "did you read the USB protocol specs (available at www.usb.org)?". Even a short glance at them should make it clear that while USB has "serial" in it, the protocol is a whole different caliber than, say, RS232. |
