The purpose of many things in the world wide wonderland is to give you distractions you do not want or need. Last I asked Twitter do not have a setting "NO, I do not want to hear aboout hair cream, Viagra, home mortgages etc and I do not want to be 'alerted' when someone press a key". My wife, accidentially got on facebook and WOW, they took over her Outlook homepage and flooded her with all kinds of stuff, getting her off was a TASK!
So, without being antisocial I refuse to participate in "social media". e-mail (and fora) is wonderful, you check when it suits YOU! Erik |
