Although they are mostly 8 bits, the TI parts would work BUT... It seems to me that TI is extremely quick in pulling the plug on any marginal product line. I could name many and have been stung several times.
Since this market seems to be diminishing, would it be safe to design TI in? A quick perusal of the Toshiba line-up suggests that they are all individual drivers as well. |
