The reason being that it is so costly.

Whereas robotic surgical equipment can cost a lot, the stuff used by prosthetists is already too costly if it costs .001% as much.

It would probably also be very much too slow, based on the video. I suppose it could be faster. With a single probe, however, it would take many hours, and that would render it unusable.
