| I had hoped I'd recognize the device based on its supply connections, size and shape, etc.  While I've seen a number of IC's that had the sort of form factor you describe, I can't say I recall a DAC in one of them.  The technology you're likely to encounter in a military device can be quite old, as the U.S. military tends to prefer proven and reliable technology over "bleeding edge" for flight hardware.  
 It seems you've done quite a bit of work on this and have had reasonable results. You're to be commended for that. Good luck with your verification attempt! RE |
