I measure C and ESR of electrolytic capacitors, in most cases I find measuring Capacitance alone is not enough because many electrolytic capacitors have good capacitance value but bad ESR which makes it faulty capacitor.
I occasionally use an LCR meter to measure inductance but mainly I use the color code to identify them. Mahmood |
