#189620 - Resolution Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Steve,
Well, I went with a "pre-loved" system. I got a fully refurbished Tektronix 7613 Mainframe and a Textronix 7S12 TDR Module with S-52 and S-6 heads. This system will resolve down to 20 ps per division, which means it will (if only just) resolve the top layer pad from a bottom layer pad on a 0.064" FR4 board. Also, the 7613 has Option 6, a special internal graticule I will need later when I add a spectrum analyzer module. And the best part is, I got everything, warranted, for right at $500. Thanks again, Steve and Richard, for the input. Joe |
