#99192 - I am and I will Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It would therefore be nice if it were easy to use several of these on a single serial bus with simple addressing of up to say 8 devices. I2C?
I am and I will drive enough of these chips to (currently) control 160*8 LEDs in one serial string. The chips will have Sin and Sout to allow chaining. Re IIC - way too slow for big signs, but if you are interested Philips Has a series of IIC chips with characteristics similar to what I describe. I never thought of the app you mention, but the more is considered, the better. Erik |
