#100341 - stuck in a rut Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I need 5V (industrial environment).
stuck in a rut, just like I were. I said the same till abt 2 years ago when I needed something only available in 3V3. After going through a few "birth pangs" I found that 3V3 with proper interfaces work just fine in my very noisy environment. Today I will use 5V if the best choice chip is 5V and 3V3 if the best choice chip is that. Vcc is now very far down my decision tree in chip selection. Just have a look at RAM and flash, not to mention CPLD/FPGA. The best offerings are all 3V3. Erik |
