I am just surprized by the output generated by SDCC as compared to Keil. Can someone tell what's happening?
I can not say for sure, but another compiler I once used for the '51 copied all constants to XDATA. When asked the manufacturer answered "this is the only way you can do it when there is no 'memory type marker' in the functions". Note: that compiler DID have the 'code' keyword.
