yes i did download the program to the target board....no problem in downloading ...even the blinky program in the examples provided is working well with the board....

With reference to your program I can see the output in the serial window in the keil simulator....but i want to see the same output in the hyperterminal window.
even if i try to echo the character in the hyper terminal window it is not echoing.

any idea ?

i am connecting the board to the ext RS232 connection.
