#101120 - I am not too worried baout the IIC, but Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I am short of one pin on my LPC925 and want to implement a bit banged SPI port, I have the I2C port in use to I2C devices, and would like to use the SCL line as an IO line for the SPI. I was thinking of using it as the CS or the CLOCK line to the SPI.
I am not too worried about the IIC, but how will the SPI work when the clocks are not multiples of 8, you will never know what the bit number is. If you are using external reset, have you thought about reconfiguring the pin to I/O after startup? Erik |
