#101939 - USB host in 8051 |
hi friends,
as now rs-232 is becoming obsoulete, manufacturers of embedded products switch to USB. As i know very little about USB, I need a controller which can be used as a Host controller to activate the modem of my Samsung phone and send data at a rate of 23400 bps. I know there are some MCU's which support USB as host controller. I need to know whether you friends have any experience using 8051 as a controller and which evaluation board to use. About the activating the modem on my samsung phone and using it as a serial com port and sending data at 23400 bps. any information is appreciated. best regards, sarsam |
