Check this thread out:
http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=101056 The cost is $115.00 for a brand new one. I found the book real cheap on amazon second hand for only $19.00. Also another good "bible" to have is "Serial Port Complete" by Jan Axelson. This book explains rs485 in detail with source code and schematic diagrams. There are also many references to 8051 in this book. I can't believe I didn't order this before!! Do a search on amazon.com you will find it. For the amount of money ($26), its WELL worth it and it saves alot of headaches. The book is easy to understand, especially if you are a NEWBIE like myself. You can also get second hand books real cheap if you can't afford a new one. |
