Use a SN75176 to get your RS485 signal.
the 75176 is an old workhorse and works well in many applictions, however I prefer the newer "equivalents" from linear and Maxim that are so much more robust. some can take a solid 60V common mode and some can take kilovolts of ESD. Erik |
