What I meant to clarify is that the reset routine from hitachi states that one has to send reset code, wait 4.1 ms, send reset code again, wait 100 usec, and then send even a third reset. A single reset may well work, but i'd try and follow hitachi's original specs...
It might even work for the generic cra... eeuuuhh variations.. Anyway, a tutorial is a guideline that can be followed. If it doesn't work, then get more info, and try again... A tutorial is only the beginning of a learning-curve, not the end... rgds Patrick |
