#102551 - Yes, they are different! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
the resolution depends on the resolution of ADC, and the precision( or accuracy ?) depends on the whole data acquisition system(ADC, power supply, layout...)!
But how can I prove the DA card whoes specification says its precision is 16 bits actually achieves 16-bit precision? As for my application, the maximum frequency of signal is 1KHz, so the speed of data acquisition card is not very high,! The other aspects that I need to care are: low noise power supply, separate the analog and digital power supply, precision reference voltage, carefull layout. thank you! Adam |
