We need UK English to USA English and USA English to UK English converter function on here! Or Steve can translate for us. :~) Just one possible solution: If you look around the web, you will find where people have generated the video signals directly using PICs and SXs. Get yourself an SX(Ubicom, 100 MIPS!) setup as a peripheral to your 8051. Then you can probably find most of code on the net to generate the signals in software. This may or may not work, as I don't know exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
