#10354 - RE: just curious |
Hello,
Sometimes its called "embedded controller" or "single chip computer", it is built round one chip and it has al the things what make up a microcomputersystem, but functionally it will be build to execute only one program that usualy is'nt changed. the program memory is sometimes "burnt" in to it . It has at least a CPU a memory an I/O part and a timer counter Maybe this is of some use. regards nico |
